Yomi has a happy childhood growing up in the neighborhood with his siblings. He was raised well as a child. His early years were full of enjoyable activities including playing dirty with his age peers, taking in highlife music, and playing street football.

He was introduced to movie theaters and movies by his siblings, and against his father\’s objections, he developed a film obsession. Yomi\’s love of acting and movies dates back to his early years, and this is not up for debate.

Yomi Fash-Lanso, the last of five children—three brothers and two sisters—was born on June 7, 1968, in Ebute-Meta, Lagos, Nigeria, to Mr. Alamu Olansossiwaju and Mrs. Adedoyin Fashola. He is an Ogun State native.

Education

In Lagos, Yomi Fash-Lanso completed his elementary and secondary studies. He received his elementary education at U.A.M.C., then moved on to Jibril Martin Grammar School in Iponri for his secondary schooling before enrolling at the University of Lagos, Akoka, to pursue a business administration degree.

He received additional training by enrolling in a Film Directing and Production course at the Independent Television Producers Association of Nigeria (ITPAN).

Yomi Fash Lanso began his career as a banking officer in the financial industry before branching out into acting and filmmaking, which would eventually make him famous. In February 1995, he made his acting debut in the film Omolade, which was directed by the seasoned performer Jide Kosoko.

Yomi Fash Lanso is notable for being one of the few actors who performed on stage during the stage play era. Since then, he has appeared in more than 100 films, including Kunle Afolayan\’s most recent blockbuster, \”Citation.\” others consist of;

Yomi Fash Lanso is happily married to his heartthrob, Adetutu George whom he met at a phone booth, dated for four years, and married in 2004. The union is blessed with children.
