Both 12-year-olds Gabriel Kuhn and Daniel Petry had a passion for the video game Tibia. The lives of the two pals were integrated into one another.
On July 23, 2007, Gabriel allegedly conned Daniel out of 20,000 virtual Tibia coins while they were playing the game. Over the money, the two eventually got into an argument.
What happened?
Daniel Petry was a buddy of 12-year-old Gabriel Kuhn. When they were playing the online game Tibia, they got together.
At the time, there were a lot of gamers playing the game all around the world. Players had to upgrade their accounts from basic to premium in order to take full advantage of it.
Daniel had loaned Gabriel 20,000 digital coins, but Gabriel refused to return them. That infuriated Daniel.
He thus killed Gabriel.
He repeatedly sexually assaulted Gabriel while carrying out the murder and then wire-strangled him. He then hacked off Gabriel\’s legs to make the body lighter so he could drag it through a crawl space.

Daniel then carved the Tibia symbols into his victim’s body. He then stuffed both parts into the crawlspace, but it did not fit well. He then ripped out Gabriel’s middle parts, causing excessive bleeding. The dismembered body parts were later found on a neighbor’s property.
Why did he kill Gabriel?
Daniel Petry is an extremely rebellious and angry individual who was born in Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil. He had an extremely short fuse and would lash out violently at the slightest provocation. He had repeatedly fled from his psychotherapy appointments and did not finish them.
He also frequently skipped courses and did not complete his homework. Eventually, as a result of his unregulated behavior, he attacked his friend Gabriel Kuhn.

Gabriel once requested 20,000 Tibia, a virtual currency used online. He stated he would return it later, but he never did.
When Gabriel did not return the money, Daniel went to his house and abused him until he died. He had a lot of psychiatric problems and did not know how to control his anger.
How did he kill Gabriel?

Petry believed he could hide the body in the attic and get rid of it, but he was unable to do so since it was too heavy for him to lift.
So he decided to cut him up. He used a knife from the kitchen and a hacksaw from the garage. He kept cutting until he got to the lower legs and then removed them. After that, he beat the body a few more times and carved Tibia symbols into it.

Brazil-born 16-year-old Daniel Petry was Daniel Petry. He was an extremely abrasive child who frequently skipped school. He received mental treatment, but it wasn\’t particularly successful. He also spent a lot of time playing Tibia online and watching TV.
On July 23, 2007, he murdered Gabriel Kuhn in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The victim was a 12-year-old child who resided in Daniel Petry\’s neighborhood.
After a brief altercation, Daniel bound Gabriel\’s neck with a game console power cord. The cable was then tightly wrapped, killing him via strangulation.
Petry then retrieved a knife and a saw from the garage and chopped off Gabriel\’s legs.
He then started sawing Gabriel’s torso in half until his body was completely chopped in two pieces.
During the live mutilation, Kuhn lost consciousness again. He was in shock and screamed in agony.
